Interest Rate - Oregon's statutory rate of interest is 9% (ORS 82.010) unless otherwise agreed.
Statute of Limitations - (ORS 12.080)
- Open Accounts - 6 Years
- Municipal Corporation Accounts - forever (ORS 12.250)
- Domestic Judgments - 10 years (ORS 18.182(s) then renewable for another 10 years (ORS 18.182)
Dishonored Checks - $35 fee on top of the amount of the check. Statutory damages can be awarded for $100 or three times the amount of the check up to $500 per check whichever is greater. (ORS 30.701)
